Cookbook continued:

I am going to share more of my cookbook with you.

It will probably take a week or two for me to put the whole book online.

Still working on Raina and Mike’s wedding scrapbook, I will share that after it is finished and I scan the pages into the computer.

Family History and Cookbook

Last year I made a family cookbook and history with old family pictures and the family tree. It took quite a few months, if you include all the time I spent scanning and researching old pictures and the family tree on ancestry.com.    My father was one of seven siblings, and I have at least one of their recipes and an old photo page for each.  I created this book on my computer, using Scrapbook Factory Software.  After I printed and bound the books I added embellishments, just like I would in a scrapbook.  I only printed 15 copies and have given all but one away to family.  Everyone’s is different with the embellishments, I personalized them according to whom I was giving that book to.  The pages below do not have any added embellishments.

Raina & Mike’s Wedding Scrapbook

I have been working on this scrapbook(s) for a while now.  I think it will end up being 6 or 7 books.  I have not had the pictures for 9 months – but Raina and Mike are proud parents of a beautiful baby boy, named Grady.  Born yesterday, Congratulation Raina and Mike and new grandparents Rick and Linda!  They were our neighbors and Raina and Marklyn (my youngest daughter) grew up together and are still best friends.

Below are a few print creations I made for her scrapbook.  Hope you enjoy!
