Can you tell I received a new toy!
The die to cut these flowers or paper lace.
I just zip it through my Big Shot machine. I love it!!
The center under the button is a new product to me, Tiny marbles.
I like the way they look, I am sure I will use them in other projects.
A secret note under the flap!
Doesn’t that button look like a face on the flower!
I like pink and green together!

Last Friday I had the privilege of teaching cards at the Senior Center, I was a fill in for Sharon who was at Regionals in Orlando, FL.
I really enjoy making cards with them!!
These are also the cards we made at my house on Thursday.
Faux Stained Glass.
In Blue and Purple below. I think Thursday everyone made Purple and Friday everyone made blue.
This is one Mark chose!
I hope you like it. It is also faux stained glass on vellum.

The tree and background were sponged.

This one has faux stained glass on vellum, (flowers and Birthday wishes).
It is real easy to do, you just stamp your image onto vellum and then turn it over and color it in using colored markers. The results are wonderful.
The bow looks red on the picture, I promise the bow is pink in real life!!
Really it is PINK!!

Sorry I haven’t blog for a while, I have had the flu, Type A, and it was miserable!!
Today is Betty’s Birthday, I made three cards and my husband, Mark, picked the one to send to her. Today’s card is not the one that was sent, (I was late in sending so I don’t think she has it yet!).
All three are pink her color!!
This one has a folded paper strip that looks like a braid with a ribbon through it and a birthday Wishes oval wrapped in ribbon, to look like candy.
I hope you like it.

I made this for my daughters birthday last year. She is the Queen of Starbucks and loves her coffee. It is made with a lot of recycled paper bags from Starbucks. A bag is also made into an envelope with handles, I thought it was a clever idea!!
Front of bag/envelope
Back of bag/envelope…See the Fairy for the Fairy Grandma!!
Card and bag/envelope.
front of card/book.
Inside front cover and 1st page – also note the circular tabs.
Did you notice the Starbucks logo on the window? I cut them from a gift card.
The Queen of Starbucks!!
The left side is a pocket for the gift card.
Inside of back cover.
Back cover.
I hope you enjoyed it as much as she did.
You could do this for any store or gift card.
Starbucks was more than happy to give me stickers and paper bags to create this. They took pictures of it and said they would put it on there web site; however, I never saw it!!
Enjoy your Starbucks!!!
Below are a few different ways to fold cards, I will attached directions at a later date.
My grandson Emory and Dot! They love each other!!
Thanks for looking.
