This was the design to follow, no color requirements this week.

 

this was a hard one for me, I made quite a few cards before deciding on this one to send in.

 

I used the Stampin’ Up pedal punch for most of the card.

I still don’t like it, to busy for me!!

All I need to know

I learned from the Easter Bunny!

Don't put all your eggs in one basket.

Everyone needs a friend who is all ears.

There's no such thing as too much candy.

All work and no play can make you a basket case.

A cute tail attracts a lot of attention.

Everyone is entitled to a bad hare day.

Let happy thoughts multiply like rabbits.

Some body parts should be floppy.

Keep your paws off of other people's jelly beans.

Good things come in small, sugar coated packages.

The grass is always greener in someone else's basket.

To show your true colors, you have to come out of the shell.

The best things in life are still sweet and gooey.

Congratulations Brent and Happy Birthday Heidi

 

Today is a day for celebrating in my family!

My third child and second daughter is 33 years old today.

Happy Birthday.. Heidi.

Brent her husband is graduating from Flagler College,

a Bachelor of Public Administration with honors.

My guest designer today is Betty Stephenson (Mark’s Aunt), from

Greenville, South Carolina.  She incorporated his announcement into the

card and it is a treasure I am sure Brent will keep.

The front is from his announcement, a beautiful drawing of Flagler College.

Believe it or not, this is the card in the envelope, it is clear with a gold design.

You can mail in these envelopes, I think it looks great even in the envelope!

Creative Sketches 29T

This week the challenge is a design and a technique.
the technique is Chalk / Pastels.

I stamped the flower, because I care stamp set, with stazon ink onto vellum, then turned the paper over and colored with chalk/pastels. The chalk will not brush off using this technique and it really is pretty, a modified faux stained glass!
This was the design for the week.
