Lee’s Story

I while back I started thinking how can I tie my love of scrapbooking, family and genealogy together and I came up with an idea about telling some ones life story.  My first thought was more fact based with dates and family trees, but then I met Lee.  She already had her family tree completed by her daughter-in-law, so couldn’t do that.  Instead I interviewed Lee with a list of questions and wrote about Lee, the beautiful Lee inside and out.  I hope you enjoy her story as much as I enjoyed writing it.  Thanks again Lee! Love you!

Greatest story ever, wonderfully told and beautifully constructed! Ok, so I’m a little biased - Lee is my mom. What fun to read her story in her own words and to see all those fabulous pictures. I have heard bits and pieces of this tale throughout my life but how wonderful to have it all in one place. You have to know my mom to realize she is very shy and does not like being the center of attention so Debbie must be quite special to have drawn out all those details. Thank you Debbie for creating something that will be shared for generations to come.

Oh Debbie, what a fabulous job you did telling Lee's story! I can just picture her doing all the things you've shared in her special book! What a treasure for her family to have, and what a gift you have for story telling! WOW!!

LOL... I forgot to say that I know Lee personally too, and as her son mentioned, you are a very special person to draw out such a lovely story from her.. Lee Avolio is always so quiet, gentle and caring, and I know she feels very blessed to have this fabulous memento to share with her family, children, and grandchildren!

I'm so proud of you, and so happy to be your stampin' up Mom aka up-line!!
Hugs,
Sharon F.
